NEW PRESIDENT FOR UK LEATHER FEDERATION At the UKLF Annual General Meeting held on 17 January 2008, Mike Dodd of Pittards plc was appointed as the new UKLF President. On 2 October UKLF held a Centenary Dinner at Leathersellers Hall in London to mark the 100th anniversary of the inaugural meeting of the first UK national federation for the tanning industry, which was also held at Leathersellers Hall (on 23 October 1908). The dinner was kindly sponsored by the Worshipful Company of Leathersellers and was attended by around 80 representatives of UK leather producers, customers, suppliers and other organisations whose activities impact upon the day to day workings of our industry, including a delegation from COTANCE, the European Tanners Association.
